Recently I spoke at an event on the topic “Cultivating Your Inner Power”. I shared with the ladies gathered there some of my favourite words from Rumi which I am now sharing with you.
Here goes:

There is fountain inside you.
Don’t walk around with an empty bucket.

You have a channel to the ocean,
yet you ask for water from a little pool.

There is basket of fresh bread on your head,
yet you go door to door begging for crusts.

Knock on the inner door, no other.

Often times we go about our days feeling small and disempowered because we are either unaware of our own power or unsure of how to unlock and use it.
If this resonates with you I invite you to act in YOUR best interest and contact me so we can continue our conversation and take YOUR next best step.

Here’s to looking in the right place.

  1. Fear is stooping many people from reaching their potential and true happiness. Fear of failure is another reason for never trying and following your dreams. Embracing failure and learning from it could be the key to happiness and freedom.

BSM, we absolutely need to change our “relationship” with fear and failure…thereby changing our thoughts regarding fear of failure. What we experience as fear is simply a message that we are venturing out of our comfort zone…GROWTH happens outside of our comfort zone. The only way to achieve our goals is to see “failure” as feedback.

  2. Great piece! Thank you for speaking at my event.it was phenomenal! I learnt from you a change in mindset that has really helped me this year…. failure is feedback

Thanks Adedoyin. Your Unmasking Your Beauty event was inspiring. Thanks for the privilege of co-creating with those strong women in attendance. As we experience life “Change is the only Constant”, and as such we must continue to change…or evolve our mindset (as the change in mindset must contribute to our continued growth as a whole being. The feedback we get from our continued effort is fuel/inspiration to continue:)
